We visit Telouet and Taourirt Kasbahs, as well as the famed UNESCO World Heritage-listed "Ksar at Ait Ben Haddou" on our private tour with a Local guide for best experience and driver.

We propose this private guided day excursion since we will be traveling through the stunning beauty of the High Atlas Mountains. We arrive at a wide sandy area that constitutes the Sahara's outskirts. This is a spectacular area of contrasts, with river-fed oasis villages. Views of distorted old volcanic wildness and fertile valleys abound. We visit mud-built Kasbahs and fortified communities called Ksars. Despite the early start, this is a fantastic Marrakech day trip.

We take you up from your accommodation in Marrakech and drive you through the High Atlas Mountains and across the Tizi n'Tichka Pass, which reaches a height of 2260 meters above sea level. Then we'll make our first stop of the day in Telouet. It is a village on the ‘Route of the Caravans’ from the Sahara desert over the Atlas Mountains to Marrakech. When you visit Telouet, you will discover one of the Atlas' most magnificent Kasbahs. In the past, it was the stately palace and headquarters of the strong Glaoui tribe.

GUIDED MARRAKECH TOUR TO KSAR OF AIT BENHADDOU.

Once we finish exploring of Telouet, our one of the famoust Marrakech day trips continue taking a little used back road and we arrive at Ait Benhaddou village. It was designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1987. The Ksar of Ait Benhaddou is an example of exquisite southern Moroccan architecture. The Ksar is an old pre-Saharan environment. Within the defensive walls, the homes are crammed together. You will be given a guided tour of the historic village, and your guide will make certain that you stroll up to the high point on the hill above the Ksar for spectacular views.

WE VISIT OUARZAZATE TAOURIRT KASBAH IN CITY.

We continue our Marrakech tour to Ouarzazate, where we will see the Taourirt Kasbah. It is the primary attraction of this desert oasis settlement and a former Glaoui castle. This 300-room fortification, which has been partially renovated, represents the confluence of three rivers: Dadès, Draâ, and Ziz. We'll have time to see the palace and walk through the kasbah's winding streets. When we are finished, the driver will return to Marrakech and drop you off at your accommodation. Guide and lunch can be paid locally.
