The towering peaks and secret valleys of the High Atlas Mountains are just around 1.5 hours drive from Marrakech when snow-capped for much of the year.

FROM MARRAKECH TO IMLIL VALLEY ...with "4x4 Morocco," trusted travel company for private and guided day trips from Marrakech.

Following a thrilling trip across the High Atlas Mountains and over the Tizi n'Tichka Pass, At 9:00 a.m., you will be picked up from your accommodation in Marrakech. Imlil is a 1.5-hour trip from here (1740 meters). You begin your trip to Aremd village with the guide in Imlil (1900 meters). On the journey, you'll pass through traditional Berber settlements and view Jbel Toubkal, Africa's highest peak (4167 meters). Toubkal will be blanketed with snow in the winter and will be a wonderful sight to observe from a distance.

After roughly 1 - 1.5 hours, you will be taken to a nearby guesthouse for a delicious meal. A wonderful view of the Mizane Valley may be had from here. It will be a 30-minute walk back to Imlil after lunch. Return to Marrakech using the same way you took to Imlil.
